Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) Course

This course is instructed by Dr. Brian P. Despinasse II, M.D., a certified firearms instructor credentialed through the National Rifle Association (NRA), United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), National African American Gun Association (NAAGA), and the Louisiana State Police. This training fulfills all requirements for obtaining a Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit.

Students receive comprehensive instruction in firearm safety, Louisiana use-of-force and firearms laws, conflict avoidance, and foundational marksmanship. The course includes live-fire qualification and practical application to ensure safe, responsible, and confident firearm handling.

As part of Noir Armory Medical’s commitment to preparedness, this course also incorporates Stop the Bleed training. Participants will gain essential hemorrhage control skills, empowering them to respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies.

Train beyond the permit. This course is ideal for individuals seeking CHP certification while developing the mindset and skill set to respond decisively—both tactically and medically—when it matters most.
